I Possibly Regret Signing A Contract.

Image
Good day everyone! This week has been a grind! It was the last of the transfer. I'm now going on my 8th. Elder Benware and I will stay another one together and I'm stoked!      We had a ton of fun this week going to District Councils and having AP Exchanges. For one of the activities, the APs had the Social Media team take pictures of us at Hyde Park. Earlier that day we went to a different zone's District Council and just had a blast finding people to teach on a blitz.      The Gravesend Elders had a baptism this Sunday and it was super cool when I got to meet their friend, Julia and attend. It's a blast in the flat with these Elders. We enjoy our time a ton. Starting this transfer with today we are taking cold showers because it's supposedly good for you. Whoever backs out and breaks the contract, has to buy everyone else dinner.      Hope you all have a good week. I love this talk by Elder Holland if you want to give it a read.  ...

Good day everyone! This week has been a blast. We had some exchanges this week with the Gravesend and Selsdon Elders. We extended a date to our friend, Caroline for May, and then re-extended a baptismal date for Monika because of work conflicts. This one dude we met on the street gave us some mini African Bananas. Pretty funny.      This was an awesome Easter Weekend and gosh this is the best country to be for it because Cadbury Chocolate is ELITE.      I gave Elder Dale a haircut which actually turned out pretty good. A lot better than the last time I cut a missionary's hair. That was fun. We also ate some African Fu-Fu which was delicious. It's kind of like eating mashed potato with gravy, but I stead if gravy it's a different kind of sauce with chicken in it.      Today is Zone P-day so we are all at the chapel in Maidstone playing games and having fun. I'm currently writing this email in a Pizza Go-Go which is a pizza chain that's pretty ...

Spicy Chicken Tacos

Image
If you have ever been to England, you may have heard of Nandos. It's a famous place to eat. Very good food, but more importantly VERY GOOD sauce. Twice this week, we had Elder Beware's famous Spicy Chicken Tacos, featuring Hot Nando's Sauce. In fact these Spicy Chicken Tacos are so famous, lots of the missionaries across the mission know how to make it. 10/10 Would recommend.      This week was good! We did really well as a zone in terms of finding new friends to teach and getting people to church. We also had interviews with the mission President and learned a lot more on "Spiritual Momentum", which was talked about by President Nelson in last weekend's General Conference for the Church. I'll attach his talk below.      We also had an online/in-person live event called "Why I Believe", where people who never had the gospel in their lives, shared their experiences of coming unto Christ. It was really good and great to be there. It was hosted in O...

Who Knew The Sky Could "Snale"

General Conference Slaps! It was so good! Highly recommend watching it if you haven't had a chance!      This week was super fun. We got a lot of work rolling and have a new friend, Deepika, on date for baptism! We also had a Mission Leadership Council and Zone Conference. I won the basketball free-throw contest! I was hoping to be able to cross that off my mission bucket list before going home.     We had exchanges too and I was with Elder Howard in Maidstone, which recently reopened as an area. We sent it on the streets and found a lot of people to start teaching. It randomly started dumping hail/snow (snale?) while we were out there. Don't confuse it with the attached video of just snow from the following morning. The weather has been wack!      Had a crazy miracle where we met one of our baptismal dates, Monika randomly on the Gillingham High Street and then she went with us and met our other baptismal date mentioned, Deepika, who has a workpl...
