Streets Week

Image
This week was Streets Week! Our zone spent as much time as we could talking to people on the street about the gospel. We saw a lot of nice miracles. Something I've even been focusing on is asking inspired questions. It's tough, but I'm getting there I think. I've found some people really value a good question that makes them think and self-reflect.   We had Interviews with our Mission President this week and we trained on Attitude. It was fun because we made a little video of what it's like to be a missionary with a bad attitude and it turned out pretty funny.    We had AP Exchanges following that and it was a ton of fun because we did the same thing that we've been working on: hitting the streets. There was this lady I talked to on the tube and out of the corner of my eye I saw someone else listening and paying attention. I asked her if she was interested in what I had shared with the lady before and she was. Cool Beans. She gave us her number and we rushed off...

Q. What Makes You Happy? A. Legos

This week was fun! We did a whiteboard finding outside the chapel where we put the question "what makes you happy" on the board and people could write an answer. My favorite was this 6 or 7 y/o who wrote Legos. We had surprising success doing it. Some on-the-spot chapel tours were given too. 10/10 would recommend.    We had a devotional with Elder Cook and the Europe Area North Presidency and they had such inspired words. My favorite talk was about how the Adversary is also named the Accuser and wants us to always accuse ourselves for not being enough or not able to reach our potential, filling our minds with doubt. The other warning he gave was controlling our attitude. Elder Cook's testimony was really powerful too.    One of our other friends, Felipe, wants to get baptized but his work schedule is sometimes crazy. He is such a humble guy from Brazil. Our friend Şenol may get baptized this week or next week. He's super excited about the gospel and in a lot of ways ...

Couldn't Help, But Blush

Hope everyone is having a great week. This was an awesome one for us, as our friend Tad followed Jesus Christ's example and was baptized. He shared a powerful testimony with those who came to support.    I got kissed on the hand by a lady on the street who was slightly drunk, hence the title of this email.   We found some really cool people on the street. We are going to start teaching this lady named Deborah (pronounced Deb - OR - ah) She's from Atlanta Georgia. Peep the pic   Elder Servoss and I had exchanges and it was really cool when we found 2 people who really wanted to learn about and receive a copy of the Book of Mormon. Our challenge we had going on for the day as a zone was to give out a copy. They went to some wonderful people.   We had an awesome Zone Conference and I learned a ton, especially about the Atonement of Jesus Christ. It's such a motivator for me. No one experienced more hardship and was more selfless than Jesus Christ.    Have...
