Pa Pa Paa!

This week was good! We had a lot of lessons and spent a lot of time outside talking to people. Of course it was Thanksgiving week as well and luckily at Zone Conference, which was on Thursday, we had a traditional American Thanksgiving meal. It was SO good. In fact, I would say it was Pa Pa Paa, which in Twi means "delicious" , or "best of the best". I learned that after we had some more fantastic Jollof rice with our friend, Frank.   We've started teaching a few new people which has been fun! One is a 16 y/o boy who saw our tags and wanted to learn more. Another is a 23 y/o who is super curious about the Book of Mormon. It's been fun to have a week filled with more teaching. We've also been fed more lately, which has been super nice because our relationship with the wards is improving.    Zone Conference was awesome and I learned so much. We talked a lot about the temple and we are preparing for a mission temple trip to celebrate Christmas. I'm supe...

Sunset Is At 4pm!

This week wasn't the most exciting week, but you learn to always make the most of it! We had a rough time finding some new people to teach and those that have been learning with us in the past have expressed less interest. It gets dark by 4:30pm now and so no one seems to be very open to talking to strangers in the dark. This next week is going to be a lot better and more exciting though!    The week started off with some service; we helped a member clean up her garden some. She gave us some amazing spaghetti to-go for lunch. It was funny because that night we had a dinner appointment and we had spaghetti again.  Both times the spaghetti was super yummy, so, can't complain.   We had a lesson with our baptismal date, Laura that went really well and you can tell the gospel has really changed her life for the better! She even wants to bear her testimony in Sacrament meeting! We have a friend, named Faith who has come with a lot of questions every time we have met, and t...

One Of The Best Weeks Ever

It feels like Monday was yesterday! This week has flown by! Elder Windsor finally learned to drive. I finally don't have to worry about driving all the time anymore. We did the training in Harlow because an Elder in the companionship needed training too, so I went on an exchange with Elder Jones for some of the day while they did their training. We made some stir fry that was sooo good.    We have had a ton of lessons this week and a lot of people to miraculously cross our path with much interest in our message. We have seen a lot of miracles and a lot of blessings. We have been praying to make more friends and this week we made 6!    To cap the transfer off we had 2 baptisms this weekend! Our friends Kayode and Maureen are absolutely amazing and lovely people. We worked all week amidst the millions of other things going on to prepare for their special days; cleaning the fonts, organizing programs, assignments just to name a few. It is such a privilege to play part i...
