Hey, everyone! This week was a good one. We have a friend named Tony who didn't want to be baptized, but after a powerful prayer by Elder Silva and a sincere study together of the Book of Mormon, he had a spiritual witness that it was all true. He said that while we prayed, he had the thought, "Tony, this is your home," and while we read 3 Nephi Ch. 27, it all made sense why he needed to be baptized. We had Zone Conference and then Stake Conference over the weekend, and I saw someone I baptized back in September 2021, whom I had lost contact with, named Kayode! We both spotted each other, and as soon as the conference was over, we gave each other a huge embrace. It was wonderful! We caught up since we last spoke and just enjoyed hanging out for a little bit. On Sunday, we had a dinner appointment with our friend Anabella, and we met her at a bus stop to ride together to the appointment. Happy Easter, everyone! This week has been fantastic. I am training a new missionary from Miami, FL named Elder Silva. He's a stud! We had to jump right into things and start teaching lessons, so he got a good dose of what being a missionary is all about. We had a good number of friends come to church, and one of our new members, Clement, gave his first talk as well. He was so nervous but did a fantastic job! Hope everyone else has a great week! Hey! This week was awesome. It was General Conference weekend for the Church worldwide, and just WOW! The talks were everything I needed to hear and super helpful. This week wraps up the transfer, and I got news that I will be staying in Catford and training a new missionary. I'm excited. I've started to really think and remind myself of how it was when I first started my mission and how little I knew. I still don't know as much as I wish I did, but the Lord's got me, and he's always been there for me. I really am excited, though, and our friends have really started to progress.
