Slam Burger Slaps!

Hello Everyone!     This week has been great. This transfer is almost over. Next Tuesday is when it ends! Insane.      Tuesday we had an exchange with the Elders from Harlow and we took Elder Goss to take his drivers test. While that was going on, me and Elder Jones did some street finding and eventually met up with the other Elders. We went to my new favorite fast food place I've visited in England! It is called Slam Burger. Slam Burger Smacks!!  It's not only cheap, but super good. If you know me, you know I LOVE burgers and I give it a 10/10 as a fast food joint. The service was exquisite and one of the workers gave me a free, small shake. Enough about food.      We went on a blitz in St. Albans the next day to help the Sisters find some interested people and I had a really funny and cool experience. I was talking to this one university student and got her # because she wanted to learn more. Then a friend of hers came up and I explained wh...

Never Tired

This week was a good one!    We had interviews with the mission president on Monday in London and got to have some great trainings with our zone. We barely made it on time though because traffic is always SO bad here in England. I love it here, but traffic is the worst. Definitely something that might keep me from living here ever again in the far future. Always expect that you will get there 30mins to an hour later than it should take. Super annoying.   Anyways the next day we did lots of street finding, and went to a dinner appointment with Tony from the Aylesbury ward again. That was good, until we left and noticed our tire pressure was super low. We went to an air pump to fill it up, but soon realized it had a nail in it. All credit goes to my dad for teaching me how to change for a spare, and we got up and rollin pretty fast. We got the bad tire fixed first thing in the morning and got it back on the car.    Friday and Saturday we had some service projects....

Fastest/Bestest Week Ever!

This week has been busy! Honestly it has just flown by. We did a lot of traveling. On Tuesday we had Zone Conference which was really good. My favorite training was when the missionary assistants to the mission president gave a training on the power of the Book of Mormon. They asked great questions like: what does the Book of Mormon mean to you? Or, what would your life be like without the Book of Mormon? Such good questions! And it really helped me understand the strength and power that comes with studying and applying its teachings based on my life now and experiences long ago.    Wednesday we had an exchange for the day in Stevenage with Elder Reid and Elder Balzen. That was really cool and we met some awesome people on the street and taught a lesson to one of their friends on date for baptism next month about the wonderful story of the Tree of Life given in the Book of Mormon.    We have been teaching one of our friends named Jennifer as well and she loves meetin...

A Taste Of Utah

Another good week in England. Honestly hasn't been too crazy, but I stay busy. We had a lot of service this week and stopped by several returning members to see how they were doing.    We helped some members move some furniture and boxes out of a truck into their house and one of our friends with cleaning their front garden that had lots of weeds. We got to have a member there to help and taught her about CPR (a missionary classic) which stands for Church, Prayer, and Reading the Scriptures.    Our amazing friend Frank wasn't feeling so well because he got his 2nd Covid vaccine so we plan to have a baptism this upcoming Sunday if everything works out and goes according to plan!    We have been doing daily challenges within the zone to have some fun while we go about our day. I'll attach photos and videos from that.    We had District Council Saturday, which was really good and Elder Goss shared some great insights on the subject of Hope. Made me t...
