3 In 1

Sorry for not emailing! It's been very crazy. Things are going so well. At transfers last week I had to say goodbye to my companion, Elder Bowen, and welcome Elder Benware to Gillingham! We will be serving together this 5-week transfer.      Over 75% of the mission was transfered or changed in some way. Our zone is very different. We have a lot of new District Leaders and new missionaries. What's crazy is one of the missionaries that came was from the Russian Moscow mission named Elder Welch. He is awesome! He lives within the other companionship at our flat. What's crazy though is that he was only here for 6 days and then was Transferred to a new Poland Mission on the border to help refugees and fulfill other special assignments.      We have "Miracle Monika" (Her name is really just Monika) who is now on date for baptism. We met her on the street and have been teaching her every single day since Wednesday. She wants to be baptized so bad that we moved her...

El Fuego De Feo

This was an incredible week! We had a mission tour with Elder De Feo from the Europe Area Presidency. He visited some flats, did some interviews with missionaries, and counciled and taught us a ton. He had lots of wisdom to share on the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and my favorite thing he talked about was "the mantle". We have a mantle to strive to fit ourselves to as missionaries and that mantle is Christ. That's why we become better people when we strive to be like Him and I know that is a big reason why I've changed so much since starting my mission. Something I loved that he said about the mantle was: "It's not about what we do, but about what we BECOME". There's still a lot of thoughts racing around my mind about the things he shared with us, but my understanding and love for gospel has grown so much after this week.    We had 2 Mission Leadership Councils and Zone Conference all in this week so it was packed.
