El Fuego De Feo

This was an incredible week! We had a mission tour with Elder De Feo from the Europe Area Presidency. He visited some flats, did some interviews with missionaries, and counciled and taught us a ton. He had lots of wisdom to share on the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and my favorite thing he talked about was "the mantle". We have a mantle to strive to fit ourselves to as missionaries and that mantle is Christ. That's why we become better people when we strive to be like Him and I know that is a big reason why I've changed so much since starting my mission. Something I loved that he said about the mantle was: "It's not about what we do, but about what we BECOME". There's still a lot of thoughts racing around my mind about the things he shared with us, but my understanding and love for gospel has grown so much after this week. 

 

We had 2 Mission Leadership Councils and Zone Conference all in this week so it was packed. There are tube strikes going on in London so traffic has been worse than ever. In fact all of the missionaries that were supposed to be at Zone Conference on Thursday were asked to follow arrangements to stay the night before in London. But there weren't enough flats or spaces for that, so some of us stayed in a hotel. We were fortunate to get the hotel!

 

It was a fun week and it was good to be with a lot of missionaries. I hope everyone else has a good week!
