That would be the name of our basketball team if we went pro.   This week was a blast! We kicked off with some exchanges. Tuesday, Elder Servoss and I had a great time in Brighton and we just went from one thing to the next: had a lesson, then went tracting with a member, then another lesson, then back to the flat for a meeting, then out on the street, then we got dinner, then we... you get the point. It was super fun.    Wednesday we went to Eastbourne for a District Council and for the first time in what feels like forever there was a thunderstorm, to which we all went outside and tried to have a blitz (group street finding) before it started to rain. Well the storm rolled in quickly and by the time we got back to the chapel for lunch my trousers were a completely different color and my socks were soaked. Nonetheless it was so nice to be in a storm.    We had another DC on Friday in Crawley and got to find more people in the rain (a lot less intense then Wedne...

God's Plan

Hey guys! This has been another fun week.     Monday night we had our "Game Night" and we had 6 of our friends come! They had a blast and we played football. We did some service with some members on Tuesday. That morning we helped remove weeds in a member's garden and then cleaned her carpet. Later that day we ended up cutting a bunch of hedges for some other members in our ward. It was a blessing to be companions with Elder Watson, it seemed like he did just about everything because his height allowed him to reach it all.     The remainder of the week was filled with exchanges and lessons. We are really excited for 2 of our friends. One of them, named Tad, we found while walking to the church from our flat. He's been meeting with us regularly and loves attending the activities. We're trying to help him come to church now. He thinks Christianity is the best fit for him, as he's recently gained interest in the purpose of life and who God is.      Our ot...

This week was GREAT. Started off with an MLC on Tuesday and we counseled a lot about working more with wards and families. It was super spiritually uplifting. Wednesday I took my driver's test and PASSED!!! Super excited and happy. Not as hard as I thought it would be, but I also had 3hrs of preparation as I drove to my test with our mission's driving instructor and got a lot of tips and help from him.      Friday marked the start if the Pride Weekend Festival. We had interviews in London, but when we got back Brighton was packed with people. The next day was even more shocking; just the amount of people that came to Brighton. I've never seen it so busy! Some outfits people wore were quite interesting and the city was in absolute party mode. We did a lot of calls and visiting referrals because everything else was just too busy.      On Sunday we had a lesson with a member not too much later after church and he is super cool. His name is Chris and if you wou...

This week I get to take a Driver's Test! Every morning I would get to the chapel early to look at the computer for tests, just before we left I refreshed and saw a test 7 days away in Ashford, an area in my last zone I've been to! If you didn't know, driving tests are super hard to come by and the one I had already booked wasn't until January. Pray I pass this Wednesday!    We had quite a few lessons again this week and our friend, Jacqueline, is still working towards Baptism this month. She is incredible! She read the entire Book of Mormon in a week and 2 days. She absorbs information so fast!     We had Zone Conference Thursday and talked a lot about Obedience. I really like when President Thompson said; "You are hiring the Lord to bless you much more than He is hiring you to help him". I think it's so true. As a missionary I've learned to a great extent that this is the Lord's work much more than it is mine. I only play a small part but reap so ...
