Sunshine And Rainbows

This week was GREAT. Started off with an MLC on Tuesday and we counseled a lot about working more with wards and families. It was super spiritually uplifting. Wednesday I took my driver's test and PASSED!!! Super excited and happy. Not as hard as I thought it would be, but I also had 3hrs of preparation as I drove to my test with our mission's driving instructor and got a lot of tips and help from him.

Friday marked the start if the Pride Weekend Festival. We had interviews in London, but when we got back Brighton was packed with people. The next day was even more shocking; just the amount of people that came to Brighton. I've never seen it so busy! Some outfits people wore were quite interesting and the city was in absolute party mode. We did a lot of calls and visiting referrals because everything else was just too busy.

On Sunday we had a lesson with a member not too much later after church and he is super cool. His name is Chris and if you wouldn't mind praying for him that would be awesome. He has gone through a lot and is struggling right now and hasn't been to church in years, but he reached out to us and he is wanting to change his life.

We went to the 7 Sister Cliffs today!

Hope everyone else is doing well. I came across this scripture in my morning study today:

Alma Ch. 56

47 ... they had been taught by their mothers, that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them.

48 And they rehearsed unto me the words of their mothers, saying: We do not doubt our mothers knew it.

Shoutout to mothers, especially my mom! I know God has blessed me with an amazing example of a mother who trusts and follows God. It's helped me so much in my life as she's reminded me of the things I should do (pray, serve others, and keep the commandments, etc) through her example and by teaching me.

Have a great week!
