That's right! One transfer accomplished. For those who don't know, transfers are a period of time you stay in an area for 5-7 weeks (usually 6). When a transfer ends we get a call from the mission president or his assistants to inform us if we are moving, staying, getting new companions, becoming a trainer, etc. I have been in the Aylesbury area for 5 weeks and I will be staying and continue my training with Elder Hansen. Totally pumped because we are working very well as a companionship and getting work done. Only up from here!

This week has been great and I've learned a lot. On Tuesday we went on an exchange with the Zone leaders and I was with Elder Deda for the day. We did some service, had a lunch with a lovely sister from the Watford Ward and a man named Charles who is really interested in the church and on track to be baptized. We got some ice cream after some street finding, which was incredible!

Wednesday was a normal day, but that evening we went to Stevenage for an exchange with them the next day. (We go on lots of exchanges. With Elder Hansen as District Leader it's our responsibility to check on a lot of the other district companionships so that's why). We stayed in their flat and early the next day went with them to a pond in a very nice area to help them make a fishing video for the Come Unto Christ Facebook page. Turned out really good and luckily we caught fish, which was really what the video was dependent on.  I actually got to catch one! I can now say I've caught fish in 2 countries! I guess my "expertise" in fishing came in handy because no one else knew how to rig a pole or anything. It was so much fun. I could just hear my Dad's voice in my head when Elder Reid tried to set the hook ineffectively "JEEEERRRKKK!!!!!" Everyone got the hang of it though.

We had a good lesson with one of our friends Adesoji that afternoon and hit the streets some more. When we left and got back to our flat I realized I left my wallet in Stevenage as well as my shoes and toothpaste. That was kind of a pain but it was bound to happen eventually somewhere.

We had our weekly District Council Saturday and afterward, several of the Elders thought it would be fun to wax our legs. Not fun, but I guess it was worth the pictures and videos lol. Peer pressure to do stupid things is real.  I also got my possessions back from the Elders from Stevenage.

Miracle time! Sunday, our friend Frank I have mentioned before came to church again! He said he still loves it and wants to keep coming and learn more. We had a lesson with him after church and invited him to be baptized. He said he wanted to be baptized as soon as possible so he is on date for a baptism in 2 weeks! He is a beast. We will be meeting with him 3 times a week to continue teaching him more up until then.

Today we went to Watford for our P-day and I got to do some shopping finally. We hung out as a District, went to Taco Bell, and played some mini golf. Great day so far.

Hope everyone has a fantastic week.

I really liked reading about Jesus performing a miracle on the man who was paralyzed and by a pool of water called Bathesda. Whilst (The English say whilst allllll the time) talking to the Jews who rebuked him for this miracle, he says to them in John 5: 39—

"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me."

I loved this, because all we need to know to understand Christ and how we can follow His example to return back to him is through found in the scriptures. Powerful stuff.
