Christmas And A Transfer

This week has been great!

We had some lessons still and met a good amount of potential friends. We even met a new friend, named Daniel on Christmas Eve and taught the Restoration and it's times like these I take a Step back and often think to myself: what is my life right now? I'm meeting a stranger in a completely different country, who is a UK Russian resident, at a park underneath a bench with a roof cover graffitied all over, with unrepeatable phrases, while it's pouring rain on Christmas Eve, teaching them about the restoration of the gospel and explaining the Book of Mormon.

These are the moments I live for! I've probably missed a ton of similar moments like that throughout my mission that would just make you smile and even laugh about it when you take the time to notice.

We had amazing Dinner appointments, and recieved lovely gifts from the members (and family: shoutout to Aunt Bebo!) we've had the privilege to serve with. Honestly the most memorable and special time for me on Christmas was the 2 hours we were given to study the Savior in the morning. I felt God's love so immensely and know that Jesus Christ was truly the best gift the world and I have ever been given. It was nice to talk to family as well.

Transfers:

Not gonna lie, I thought I would be leaving for a new area this transfer and Elder Windsor would stay now that he's out of training, but NOPE. It's the opposite. I'm staying in Aylesbury and will no longer be covering 2 other wards. Dunstable and Luton will be receiving a set of missionaries to cover them now! Woot! Woot! I will be getting a new companion this week sometime and be the District Leader over Aylesbury, Dunstable/Luton, and Watford. Super excited!

For P-day we deep cleaned our flat, and Elder Windsor packed.

We have a baptism this Wednesday, for our little friend, Charlie who is 9!

Tell me how your Christmas was!

Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
