T'was The Week Before Christmas
Hey Everyone!
This week has been alright. Kind of a harder week to find people to teach and meet with friends because of the last-minute Christmas rush everyone is in. But we have been teaching Roberto still and he came to church! He loved it and we are excited to keep meeting with him this week. We also had 2 other friends, Steven and Casper come to church as well.
We have had some more dinner appointments lately, which has been great. I'm kind of fed up with the quick stuff like chicken nuggets. But I'll add a pic of me cooking because I promise I eat other food that isn't frozen.
On Thursday we got to go to the temple and do a session with 2 zones! That was the best part of the week for sure and definitely an early Christmas gift. After our session we had an amazing dinner with everyone and enjoyed some much needed company, since covid precautions restricted us meeting with other missionaries in an effort to keep us safe until the temple trip.
We did some service this week helping clean up a garden and moving boxes around in a members home.
The members from Aylesbury got us some Christmas gifts which was the nicest and sweetest surprise to take back to the flat on Sunday.
For P-day we finally can meet up with missionaries again since we went to the temple already and we've been shooting buckets. It's been good. Super excited for this week and I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas. Transfers next week.
Also I hit my 6 month mark tomorrow. It's flown by.
Spiritual thought:
Alma 24:10
10 And I also thank my God, yea, my great God, that he hath granted unto us that we might repent of these things, and also that he hath forgiven us of those our many sins and murders which we have committed, and taken away the guilt from our hearts, through the merits of his Son.
'Tis the reason for the season
Merry Merry Christmas!!!!
