Rain Or Shine, We're Gonna Grind
This week has been a week on the streets. Out teaching pools in the zone have been down and we wanted to find some more interested people so we were on the streets for at least 3 hours a Day. We had a lot of success while out, but a lot of the lessons fell through which was unfortunate.
Tuesday was Super-MLC: all of the District Leaders and Zone leaders meet to council about goals and plans for the mission with the Mission President. We had a blast. I got to see and talk to some of my previous comps as well, Elder Montoya and Elder Hansen.
Wednesday was an awesome first-of-the-transfer District Council. It was a ton of fun and we came up with some great ideas and plans to be more successful in our finding and teaching efforts.
The rest of the week was just a grind, hence the email subject name, where we went finding a ton and contacted a lot of people.
On Saturday we did have DLC (District Leadership Council) with the ZLs to Council about zone and mission standards as well as the setting of some expectations for this transfer to do better and achieve goals.
I was asked to speak the next day along with my companion in church and put something together in about 30mins of preparation, which actually turned out to be pretty good, considering the short notice I received. After church, we found 2 people on the street who are super interested in the gospel and the restoration. We should be having a chapel tour later this week.
My spiritual thought this week, comes from my talk: ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK. These are the 3 things we can do to find God's will for us. It's exactly what Joseph Smith did when he wanted an answer to a question and direction in his life. Through asking questions, searching the scriptures, and praying in faith he received an answer so remarkable and amazing that we, similarly as Saints, are able to have ourselves through the Holy Ghost.

Have a great week everyone!
