Beautiful Brighton

I'm now serving in Brighton with Elder Elder Richter from Germany. Elder Richter and I actually came to London at the same time and quarantined in the same flat for 5 days.

Brighton is SO beautiful. We live by the coast and there's a ton of tourist things to do. Luckily I live here so I have time to explore. Sunday we had a good amount of friends come to church and they loved it. We also had to stay in the chapel most of the day because there was a naked bike race in the afternoon.

We live with the Chinese Speaking Elders- Elder Chen (from China) and Elder Woodbrey (from New York). They have some funny food habits; chicken and rice every single day, and Nutella, egg, and bread sandwiches for breakfast. They had a baptism on Saturday.

We opened up the Crawley Zone and this is Elder Richter's first time being a zone leader. Our zone is much smaller than my last one: 7 companionships. I say "opened up" because this zone was a lot bigger but half of the areas it used to contain are getting moved into the new Brighton mission.

We went to the Cliffs in Eastbourne today!

I love it here and I'm learning so much. The members are super lovely and welcoming. Super stoked I get to spend time here!

This is a passage of scripture I loved this week!

James 1

22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
