Overcome The World And Find Rest

Had a great MLC this week on Tuesday. We decided to start having weekly planning started off as a mission in the morning on Fridays via Zoom, and the APs also give a quick morning training; something new to spice up our weeks. 

 

Wednesday was Elder Watson's birthday so we celebrated with some members in the evening and had cake. I also was on exchanges with Elder Nevers who's only been out 2 months. We had a great time and had some lessons happen that day. We were supposed to teach 2 guys named Patrick and one of them confirmed they would meet us and the other didn't. The one that confirmed never showed up and later called to explain something happened. The Patrick we didn't expect to see actually came. It was pretty funny, but it was cool because we are now consistently teaching the surprise Patrick. 

 

 

This weekend we had General Conference and we hosted it at the chapel and invited people to come and watch. Some of our friends loved it and fortunately the internet connection only had problems once.
