God Jul
That's "Merry Christmas" in Swedish.
We had AP Exchanges this week hosted in our area and we got all the missionaries and some members to go caroling in the high street then split off every direction to talk to people.
We taught an institute lesson and had a secret Santa. I got a can of beans and a can of sardines. (We were running low so I'm incredibly grateful or else we would have had to resolve to our meager rations of oats— I'm totally kidding)
We went to Bishop Olssen's place for Christmas Eve. Thought I had escaped the days where I had to sit on Santa's lap but I couldn't get out of that one there.
We had 3 Roast dinners over Christmas Eve and Christmas and I hit my limit.
It has been a fun week. We've been able to teach our friend Carrie and she is doing amazing. Keep praying for her please!
Hope everyone else is having a great holiday season! Merry Christmas.
Luke 2
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
